Refund Policy
How refunds work for Polmi subscriptions.

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for Polmi subscriptions sold by Murakami Labs OPC ("Murakami Labs", "we", "us", or "our"). It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms and Conditions. Where a subscription is purchased through a third party such as the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's refund rules also apply.
14-day money-back guarantee
First-time subscribers can request a full refund within 14 days of their initial subscription purchase if Polmi did not work as described. Email support@polmi.app with your subscription email and a brief reason. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
Renewals
Polmi subscriptions auto-renew at the start of each billing period. Cancel any time from your account settings to prevent the next renewal. We do not refund completed billing periods after renewal, except in cases of duplicate charges, accidental renewal within 48 hours of the charge (we will refund unused time), or a service failure on our side.
App Store and Google Play purchases
Refunds for subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are handled directly by Apple or Google. We cannot process refunds for these channels. Contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or Google at play.google.com/store/account.
EU and UK consumers
EU and UK consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under applicable consumer protection law. By starting your Polmi subscription, you consent to immediate service delivery and acknowledge that you waive this 14-day withdrawal right once the service begins. You retain the standard refund rights described above.
Service failures
If Polmi experiences extended downtime or fails to deliver core functionality (transcription, summaries, flashcards) for more than 7 consecutive days, we will proactively credit your account or issue a refund equivalent to the affected period.
Fraud and abuse
We reserve the right to deny refunds in cases of fraud, abuse, chargeback abuse, or excessive refund requests that suggest non-good-faith use of the service.
