About Polmi

Lectures are long. Notes are work. Polmi sits in the gap between the two.

Polmi turns recorded lecture audio into clean notes, a tidy summary, and flashcards you can share. You record or upload, and Polmi does the writing, so the hour you spent listening does not become another hour spent typing.

Why we made it

A lecture is dense and linear. You cannot skim it, and you cannot search it. By the time you have transcribed the parts that mattered, the week has moved on. We wanted the recording to do more of the work: keep the words, lift the gist, and leave you with something you will actually reopen before the exam.

Who makes it

Polmi is made by Murakami Labs, a small studio building calm, useful apps. We make a few things and try to make them well. Each app does one job and earns its place on your home screen. You can see what else we are working on at murakamilabs.com.

How we think about it

Useful first, charming second. Polmi should be quiet while you are in class and helpful when you sit down to study. No noise, no nagging, no pressure to do more than capture the lecture in front of you.
